Used by travel agents, ARC bonds are increasingly difficult to place, but required by the Airlines Report Commission to guarantee payment for airline tickets to the proper airlines.
Most bonding companies are not willing to write the airlines report commission bond without collateral; as this surety bond is considered a risky bond as claim rates tend to be higher then most other bond types. That said, there are still some markets willing to write them without collateral to those applicants that qualify. Applicants must be an existing company with good person or corporate credit. Because of the risk, the ARC bonds rates are higher then most commercial bonds, though good rates are available in the standard market.
Currently there are no specialized markets for ARC Bonds. With limited applications flowing in bonding companies cannot justify specialized bulk pricing. Despite this, Bryant Surety Bonds, Inc has enough relationships to place your bond at a great rate.
For those with less the perfect credit, we have markets that will place high risk bonds including the ARC bond.
