Arkansas Motor Vehicle Dealers
All Used Car dealers in the State of Arkansas are required to obtain a license certificate from the Arkansas State Police. Dealers must submit the ASP certificate to an Arkansas State Revenue Office, as well as purchase motor vehicle dealer plates.
Dealer License Fees:
- $1,000 annually for master license plates
- $25 for each extra dealer plate annually
Arkansas Dealer Surety Bond
Franchise dealers are required to obtain a $25,000 surety bond and submit it to the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commision for licensure. Used auto dealers are required to submit a $25,000 surety bond to the State Police.
