Typically, clients have never heard of a surety bond before being told by someone (the obligee) that they are required to obtain one. Its at this time that 100 questions swirl your head. What is a surety bond? How do I even spell it, is it a Sur ity bond? How much do these things cost, and how do they work? Are they like insurance, or a savings bond, or neither?

If after you have scanned through our guide below you still have questions, please let us know, we would love to answer all your questions, and through your feedback at more content to this page so that we can help even more people who are new, or confused, by surety bonds.
