Toyota announced the delay of the new fourth-generation Prius. The exact reasons remain unconfirmed.
Those buyers who were hyped up about buying the new economy hybrid car, will need to wait at least a half a year to be able to purchase the Prius. Insiders claim that the final prototype of the car is still not finished, hence the delay in production, which may be pushed to December 2015.
However, the new hybrid car might be worth the wait, as a Toyota spokesperson claims that the fourth-generation Prius will have a smaller, more power-dense electric motor and greater thermal efficiency. The changes may reduce weight and designed to reduce 10% of fuel exhaustion.
