J.D.Power announced that Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is the best performing non-premium brand in their 2014 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study(SM).
The brand has climbed 5 places, compared to last year, gathering 790 points. In 2013 Mazda was assigned only 779 points.
Mazda also showed the largest index score improvement among Non-Premium brands with its 14 points increase.
Also, the 2014 Mazda 6 model scored 21 points above the segment average among Midsized Cars. The 2014 Mazda3 scored 17 points above the Compact Car average and the 2014 Mazda CX-5 came fourth out of 13 in the Compact SUV segment.
