Retail diesel average jumps with 0.1 a gallon overnight.
According to the US Department of Energy, starting today, drivers will be paying $3.92 a gallon. This is the second consecutive increase. To put things in perspective, trucking’s main fuel now costs 10.3 cents a gallon more than last year.
The price of crude oil futures on the New York Exchange has been going down for the past few days. Yesterday it closed at $105.37 per barrel.
